To continue this momentum, we are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to work closely with our team and support our mission.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role will contribute to existing marketing programs while assisting in the development of new initiatives that align with our business goals and the evolving needs of the payment technology industry. The ideal candidate will have prior experience across various marketing functions, including brand management, digital marketing, content creation, lead generation, social media, and event coordination.

The Marketing Coordinator must be a detail-oriented, proactive multitasker who can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment. Experience in the payments industry is a plus, but not a requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Marketing Director in evaluating and establishing the marketing plan and strategy.
  • Assist in the creation, coordination and management of social media posts and campaigns.
  • Assist in the creation of digital and printed promotional material.
  • Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to the team, and provide instructions for use or promotion.
  • Assist in the organization of meetings, events, conferences, and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating mailing lists.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the marketing directory and inventory, ensuring all resources are current and accurate.
  • Assist in the preparation of marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring program success.
  • Support various departments with their specific needs and initiatives.
  • Conduct lead generation activities, including researching potential clients, compiling contact lists, and qualifying leads for the sales team.
  • Perform outbound telemarketing efforts to engage potential clients, introduce company offerings, and schedule follow-up appointments or product demos.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide marketing support for lead nurturing and conversion strategies.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the marketing directory and inventory, ensuring all resources are current and accurate.
  • Assist in the preparation of marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring program success.
  • Support various departments with their specific needs and initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications 

  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing is required.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in full Microsoft Office 365 suite.
  • Experience utilizing LinkedIn Sales Navigator for prospecting and engagement.
  • Experience with research using data analytics software is an asset.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative suite.
  • Experience with CRM and lead management software.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging with potential leads in a professional and persuasive manner.
  • Ability to handle objections and build rapport with potential clients.
